Milli´s Garden is an alternative to ´escuela bressol´ where we speak in English. The children (and parents!) come to understand words, phrases, songs very quickly.

 

Milli´s Garden is a loving and respectful environment where every child can be him/herself, where they follow their internal rhythms and their authentic needs are met. The children are the protagonists and the setting meets the children´s needs fluidly.

 

I offer a close bond to the child and family with professional, quality care with a reduced group of 3 children below 3 years of age. In this space children feel supported so that they can discover at their own pace, using their own initiative in safe surroundings with well organised resources. For the children who join us Milli´s Garden is a home from home where they can be comfortable, relaxed and find their own space.

 

In Milli´s Garden practice is built on authors who have placed emphasis on the specific needs of children from a pedagogical and psychological point of view, including John Dewey, Maria Montessori, Rudolf Steiner, Emmi Pikler, Célestin Freinet and Françoise Dolto.
